BT-26: A Compact and Versatile Passive Cabinet for Exceptional Sound

BT-26 is a passive, compact trapezoidal cabinet specifically designed to excel in background music, infill, and portable or fixed installation setups. Equipped with a 120° x 40° horn-loaded tweeter, the BT-26 utilizes an internal passive crossover to ensure a flat and usable frequency response ranging from 76 Hz to 26 kHz (-10 dB). With a maximum SPL of 119 dB (peak), this speaker delivers powerful and immersive sound, captivating listeners in any environment. For added convenience, the BT-26 shares voicing characteristics with the rest of the B series, enabling simultaneous use and maintaining a consistent tone throughout your audio system. The cabinet’s exceptional audio performance is achieved through the use of two custom 6″ drivers and a horn-loaded dome tweeter, resulting in a level of clarity and detail that is rare for a speaker of this size.

Its elegant design, featuring a reticulated foam front, acrylic textured paint finish, and integrated fixing points, emanates an air of sophistication. The slender rectangular shape of the BT-26 also makes it an excellent choice for mounting on columns. The BT-26 will seamlessly blend with any style of decor, and upon request, custom RAL colors are available to guarantee an even more unified integration with its surroundings, ensuring a high-class aesthetic suitable for a wide range of applications.

Various mounting options are available for the BT-26, including multiple integrated horizontal cradle fixing points for use with the BC-26 cradle and the rear pan and tilt bracket PTS. Furthermore, the cabinet can be used with other fixings such as the small wall bracket (SWB) and the pan and tilt pole mount adaptor (SS-A), offering flexibility in installation.

On the rear connector plate, you’ll find two binding post connections and two 4-pin speakON® connectors as standard, with one input and one link. The speakON® connectors are wired on pins +1-1, with pass-through of pins +2-2, ensuring reliable and convenient connectivity.

For environments that require weather resistance, a specialised version of the BT-26 is available, made from recycled polymer featuring a gland back plate, textured paint finish, metal grille front, and a 100v transformer with 3.75, 7.5, 15, 30 and 60 W tap settings.
